I have been searching for hand made underscarf for quite sometime. Last weekend, a friend of mind introduced me to her ‘Opah’ who makes her own underscraf for selling. She has been selling this underscarf for the past years and is very famous amongst ‘Datins’ in Bangsar and is selling like ‘hot cakes’. From what I can see from the work of tailoring, her workmanship is very detail. She chooses Cotton as her No#1 material and lacy border as part her underscraf design. You’ll NOT feel that you are actually wearing one Bcoz the soft cotton absorbs the heat & sweat from your head making you feel more comfortable and relax. The underscarf comes in a variety of colors..you name it, she has it! (But please lah don’t ask for the weirdest color…:))

For those who does not actually know the function of an underscarf, let me try to explain in simple English. Underscarf is a one piece under scarf. It is usually worn to cover your head and hair before you wear your scarf. It is very much helpful under slippery scarves or shawls. In a hot country like Malaysia, cotton underscarf is very useful and easy to wear and handle. It easily dried after washing. have one of her underscarves, one has to place order 1 week in advance, that is if she does not have color you ordered.
