Jom Masak lagi – Roasted Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (cleaned, soaked with cuka/lime juice for 30minutes, drained)
1 whole lemon (cut into small cubes)
8 cloves of garlic (peeled)
1 tspn of fresh/dried rosemary
A handful of crashed black pepper
Salt
Olive oil
Vegetables (carrot, potatoes, zucchini, broccoli)

BEFORE
Steps:
1. Wipe chicken with paper towel.
2. Lumur chicken with olive oil and salt.
3.Next, dump in lemon cubes, garlic inside the chicken. Sprinkle some rosemary, black pepper and salt too.
4. Tie up the chicken to close the back of the chicken. If u dont have a ’string’, u can use satay stick instead to close it up.
5.Then, lumur the whole chicken with crashed black pepper (ikut suka hati nk byk mana) and don’t forget to sprinkle some rosemary on top of the chicken too..
6. Place the chicken in the pre-heated oven (225 deg) for 90 minutes or until chicken turns golden brown….
7. Best served HOT.

AFTER
For Gravy, do not throw away the remaining (in the pan used to roast the chicken).
Add in 1 tbspn of flour into the ‘remaining’ and mix till u get a brown gravy. No need to add salt.

Jom masak Ayam Kicap Pak Said…..

Ingredients:
1/2 kg ayam (lebih kutang 6 ketul bhgn – ayam dilumur garam dan digoreng ambal2)
3 ulas bawang putih- dihiris
2 biji bawang besar (dimayang bulat2)
1/2 ibu jari halia (dihiris panjang2)
100ml kicap manis
1 cawan air masak
2 sudu makan cuka
garam secukup rasa

Bhn2 ditumbuk halus:
1 biji buah pala
7 biji cengkih
7 biji pelaga
1/2 btg kayu manis
2 biji bunga lawang
5 biji buah pelaga
p/s: gmbr atas tu i x tumbuk halus sgt, tapi kalu u all buat make sure kasi betul2 halus sbb nnti rempah2 ni meresap masuk dlm ayam…..
Cara2 memasak:

Tumis bawang besar, bawang putih and halia sampai layu…

Once dah layu, masukkan bhn2 tumbuk dan tumis lagi sampai naik bau harum……

Lepas dah naik bau, bolelah masukkan kicap manis, air and cuka. Tunggu sampai didih….

Once dah didih, bole lah masukkan ayam, cili hijau/merah and garam secukup rasa. Tunggu sampai kuah kicap pekat sedikit sblm dipadamkan api…..

ok dah siap…ENJOY!!!
Additional recipe:
Sayur Campur (versi Cozy Corner)

Ingredients:
1 paket sayur sawi (potong kecil2)
isi ayam dipotong kecil dan memanjang
3 ekor udang dipotong kecil
1 biji bawang putih
1 biji tomato dipotong 8
1/2 btg carot dipotong bulat dan nipis
1 sudu makan sos tiram
1/2 sudu kecil perisa stok ayam (kalu ada air stok ayam lagi bagus)
1/4 cawan air
a pinch of sugar
garam secukup rasa
Cara2 masak:
1. Tumis bawang putih dgn api perlahan
2. Once dah golden brown, masukkan hirisan ayam and udang. Goreng sampai kedua2nya masak.
3. Masukkan air, carrot, sos tiram, gula……tunggu sampai didih.
4. Once dah didih, masukkan sayur sawi….masukkan garam secukup rasa and tutup api….

Ok siap lagi…jom makan!!!
Masak Sup Tulang, Jom!
Since last week, I mengidam (eh bukan pasal preggy k) sgt nk makan sup tulang….
So today, walaupun x brape sihat (kuatkan semangat), terus bukak fridge and kluarkan tulang rusuk dalam paket beli kat JUSCO dulu…..
Hubby plak sempat snap a few pictures of step-by-step method to make this wonderful dish….
So ENJOY…..

Firstly, basuh daging tulang rusuk and rendam ngan tepung gandum untuk menghilangkan bau daging yang tidak menyenangkan. Kalu x basuh betul2, nnti daging dlm sup terasa hamis…..

Pastu toskan tulang2 tadi (hirisan halia and 2 btg serai yg dititik akan dicampak semasa menumis nnti)

Tumis 1 biji bawang besar yg dimayang bersama 2 btg serai yg dititik

Campakkan juga 9 biji pelaga, 6 biji bunga cengkih, 1 biji bunga lawang, 1 btg kecik kayu manis

Bahan yg perlu diblend: 4 biji bwg besar, 3 biji bwg putih, 1/2 ibu jari halia, 1 sudu kecik biji lada hitam, 2 btg cili hijau

Lepas campuran bwg besar, serai dan biji2an tadi dah wangi and turned golden, bolehlah masukkan bhn2 yg diblend tadi bersama hirisan halia….

Tumis sampai naik minyak (campuran bwg2 nmpk garing)……kat sini kena byk sabar, kalu tercepat masukkan tulang2 rusuk sebelum campuran bwg tu garing, nnti sup terasa ‘mamek’ (ntahlah ni bhsa mane ntah dapat ni…hihi)

Lepas campuran tadi dah garing, boleh lah masukkan tulang2 rusuk ke dalam cooker……kacau sehingga sebati ngan tulang2 (ini yg buatkan daging pada tulang2 rusuk tu ‘TERASA’ sbb rempah2 akan menyerap ke dalam daging….

Tunggu sampai semua dah sebati (daging n rempah)

Pastu, masukkan air masak sehingga paras menutupi tulang2. Biarkan mendidih…..

Once dah mendidih, campakkan sup tulang bunjut (i guna brand adabi, brand lain pun bole) and tambahkan garam secukup rase and 1 sudu kecil gula pasir…..

Lastly, tutup pressure cooker and masak dalam 30 minit…..once klua bunyi mcm ‘Choo..choo train‘, offkan api and biarkan sahaja sampai butang merah pada penutup pressure cooker tu turun…..maksudnye, penutup tu dah boleh dibuka and bole siap dihidangkan…..

Ok inilah hasilnya!!!! Jgn lupa tabur bwg goreng, daun sup n daun bawang and perah limau nipis (kasi uuummmpphh)

Ni version zoom…..makan ngan cili padi tumbuk..perrggghhhh soodddaappp!!!

All Time Fav Choc Cake Order…..n tiramisu for the family!!!!

Thanks to Nanie (one of my close frens) from Gombak for ordering my cakes. Met her at Ampang Point to pass her the cakes….Nanie, you don’t look preggie at all (eventhough dah nk masuk 5 bulan, kan?)!!!Maintain lagi body you….berkebaya lagi!!!Cayalah….

I made this Simple Tiramisu (CMS-Cepat, Mudah n Sedap) for the family…here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
2 or 3 packets of tiramisu lady fingers biscuits/sponge fingers/boudoir (depending on yr container size)
250gm cream cheese
200gm whipping cream
100gm gula halus
1 cup of hot nescafe (without sugar)
cocoa powder (for decoration)
2 or 3 drops of coconut oil (for flavouring – optional)
Method:
1. Cream cream cheese, whipping cream n sugar till fluffy. Then add 2 or 3 drops of coconut oil – I named this (A)
2. Dunk tiramisu fingers in hot nescafe and layer them in container – I named this (B)
3. Pour 1/3 of (A) on the 1st layer and ratakan
4. Continue with (B) and (A) until (A) is the last layer
5. Decorate it with powdered cocoa (ikut suka hati) – if nak powder layer by layer for (A) pun sedap
6. Chill it in fridge before serving…wallllaaaaaaa…..Good luck!
Everyday Kuih Kria….
Tgk title pun dah tau…Everyday I feel like eating kuih kria since I preggy ni….However this kuih has been my fav since small…So tak leh jadi cam ni, everyday nk kena beli kuih kria…n the place I used to buy at Tmn Permata dah tutup…dunno y?Mayb Makcik Kuih went for a short holiday….So today, my MIL decided to make it…she said it’s simple to make it and it’s TRUE!!! Here’s the resulted Kuih Kria I’ve made myself….

Now, here’s the recipe:
1/2 kg keledek (rebus and mash)
Tepung gandum (gaul sket2 bersama mashed keledek sampai jari jemari tak melekit)
Then, bentukkan bulat2 pastu buat lubang kat tengah2….n digoreng until slightly golden brown…
Meanwhile, u can prepare the Sira gula…U just need 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water…dissolve under a medium heat….stir the mixture until berbuih2….stir for about 1 or 2 minutes…then quickly add in the fried dough and gaul skali ngan sira gula tadi (under medium heat)…Gaul smua until u see the sira gula is thickening onto the dough….and you’re done!!!Simple kan??I’ll definitely try this recipe again next time….
